Javascript
JavaScript is required by many web sites in order to view them properly. Instructions for some of the more common browsers are below:
Internet Explorer (6.x/7.x)
- Go to Tools from the top menu
- Select Internet Options
- Click on the Security tab
- Click Custom Level
- Scroll down until you see the Scripting section
- Ensure that the Active Scripting option is set at Enabled
- Click OK
Mozilla Firefox (1.5, 2.x, 3.x)
- Go to Tools from the top menu
- Select Options
- Click on the Content button
- Ensure that the Enable JavaScript option is checked
- Click OK
Netscape Navigator (8.x)
- Go to Tools from the top menu
- Select Options
- Select Site Controls in the left-hand navigation bar.
- Make sure Enable JavaScript checkbox is checked.
- Click OK
Netscape Navigator (7.x)
- Go to Edit from the top menu
- Select Preferences
- Select Advanced
- Click Scripts & Plugins (If no subcategories are visible, double-click Advanced to expand the list.)
- Under Enable JavaScript for, select the Navigator checkbox to turn JavaScript on. This checkbox toggles JavaScript for web pages opened in Navigator.
Netscape Communicator (4.x/6.x)
- Go to Edit from the top menu
- Select Preferences
- Select Advanced
- Make sure "Enable JavaScript for Navigator" check box is checked.
- Restart browser.
Netscape Navigator (4.8)
- Go to Edit from the top menu
- Select Preferences
- Select Advanced
- Select Scripts & Plugins
- Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox
- Click OK
Apple Safari (1.x, 2.x, 3.x)
- Go to Safari from the top menu
- Select Preferences
- Select Security
- Ensure that the Enable JavaScript option is checked
- Click OK
